A SMALL CLUSTER OF THUNDERSTORMS IS CONTINUING TO MOVE EWD ACROSS EXTREME NERN MT TO THE NORTH/EAST OF GGW...IN ASSOCIATION WITH A VORTICITY MAX/SHORT WAVE TROUGH SEEN IN WATER VAPOR IMAGERY MOVING ENEWD ACROSS ERN MT. THE AREA AHEAD OF THIS CONVECTION IS NEARLY CLOUD-FREE AND EXPERIENCING STRONG DIABATIC HEATING...WHICH WILL CONTRIBUTE TO CONTINUED DESTABILIZATION THIS AFTERNOON. SOUTHERLY LOW LEVEL WINDS AHEAD OF THE CURRENT CONVECTION WILL ALLOW SURFACE DEW POINTS TO REMAIN IN THE 60S...AND WITH STEEP MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES IN PLACE MLCAPE AROUND 1500 J/KG IS EXPECTED.
