NWS STORM PREDICTION CENTER NORMAN OK

AREAS AFFECTED...FL

CONCERNING...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM POTENTIAL

VALID 191730Z - 191900Z

THE THREAT OF ISOLATED DAMAGING WINDS/SMALL HAIL IS EXPECTED TO
INCREASE OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF HOURS. A WW IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT
THIS TIME.

RECENT SATELLITE IMAGERY INDICATES THAT BOTH E AND W SEA BREEZE
BOUNDARIES ARE BECOMING BETTER ESTABLISHED OVER THE PENINSULA WITH
AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY INTERSECTING THE W COAST SEA BREEZE OVER
JEFFERSON COUNTY IN THE ERN PNHDL. 12Z RAOBS AND CURRENT RUC POINT
FORECAST SOUNDINGS INDICATE A MODERATELY UNSTABLE AND UNCAPPED
AIRMASS WITH MLCAPES APPROACHING 2000-2500 J/KG. LOCAL VWP DATA
INDICATE RELATIVELY WEAK MID AND UPPER-LEVEL WINDS ACROSS THE AREA
DOWNSTREAM FROM LOW OVER THE CNTRL GULF COAST.

ALTHOUGH THE MAJORITY OF CONVECTION ACROSS THE PENINSULA IS EXPECTED
TO REMAIN RATHER DISORGANIZED THIS AFTERNOON...LOW-LEVEL CONVERGENCE
ALONG AFOREMENTIONED BOUNDARIES MAY BE SUFFICIENT TO SUPPORT A FEW
PULSE SEVERE STORMS. RELATIVELY DRY AIR OBSERVED GENERALLY ABOVE
600MB ON THIS MORNING/S OBSERVED SOUNDINGS SUGGESTS THE POTENTIAL
FOR ISOLATED DAMAGING DOWNBURSTS WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS. SMALL
HAIL WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE.
