THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CHRISTIAN COUNTY IN MISSOURI

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT.

* AT 351 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.     
  THESE STORMS ARE NEARLY STATIONARY AND HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE
  COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL ALONG NORTHERN CHRISTIAN COUNTY.

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING      
  TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING             
  INCLUDE...OZARK...NIXA AND CLEVER.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

STONE COUNTIES.  HOWEVER...RUNOFF WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE WARNED 
COUNTIES FOR THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS.  MOTORISTS SHOULD BE AWARE 
OF ANY WATER COVERED ROADWAYS.  IF A ROAD IS WATER COVERED...DO NOT 
ATTEMPT TO CROSS IT...FIND AN ALTERNATE ROUTE.
