THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL GREENE COUNTY IN MISSOURI

* UNTIL 530 PM CDT.

* AT 220 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  A THUNDERSTORM DIRECTLY OVER WESTERN SECTIONS OF SPRINGFIELD.      
  THIS STORM WAS NEARLY STATIONARY...AND WILL PRODUCE COPIOUS        
  AMOUNTS OF RAINFALL OVER CENTRAL GREEN COUNTY AND WESTERN SECTIONS 
  OF SPRINGFIELD FOR THE NEXT 30 MINUTES TO AN HOUR.    

* RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO   
  OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING                
  INCLUDE...SPRINGFIELD.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
