* UNTIL 715 PM EDT

* AT 414 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED           
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN PERSISTING OVER THE WARNED      
  AREA. RADAR ESTIMATED THAT UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN SINCE 
  3:00 PM. HEAVY RAIN WILL LIKELY CONTINUE DURING THE NEXT COUPLE    
  HOURS...PRODUCING FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS AND STREAMS ACROSS THE

INDEPENDENT CITIES UNTIL 715 PM EDT...

  NORTHERN WYTHE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
  SOUTHERN BLAND COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA

AT 503 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
THAT THE HEAVY RAINFALL HAD SHIFTED SOUTH INTO CENTRAL WYTHE COUNTY. 
HOWEVER RUNOFF FROM EARLIER HEAVY RAIN WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING OVER THE WARNED AREA...ESPECIALLY ALONG MILLER CREEK.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
