000 WGUS51 KPHI 151612 FFWPHI PAC011-152000- BULLETIN - EAS ACTIVATION REQUESTED FLASH FLOOD WARNING NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MOUNT HOLLY NJ 1210 PM EDT MON SEP 15 2003 THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A * FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR... CENTRAL AND WESTERN BERKS COUNTY IN EASTERN PENNSYLVANIA * UNTIL 400 PM EDT. * AT 1203 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED ABOUT ONE TO ONE AND HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN SO FAR ACROSS THIS AREA. MORE BANDS OF HEAVY RAIN AVERAGING BETWEEN HALF AN INCH TO AN INCH PER HOUR WILL CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS AND START STREAM FLOODING. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
