THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIDLAND HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MITCHELL COUNTY IN WEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 515 PM CDT

* AT 221 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF 
  THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS SOUTHEAST 
  MITCHELL COUNTY. RADAR INDICATES RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES
  HAVE ALREADY OCCURRED IN THIS AREA WITH ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORM
  DEVELOPMENT LIKELY THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON. RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS
  WILL INUNDATE FARM AND RANCH LAND RESULTING IN FLOODED ROADWAYS. 


* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  AREAS ALONG STATE HIGHWAY 163 AND 208 SOUTH OF COLORADO CITY.

...A FLASH FLOOD WARNING CONTINUES FOR MITCHELL COUNTY UNTIL 515 PM
CDT...

AT 411 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO 
DETECT SEVERAL THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER MUCH 
OF SOUTHERN MITCHELL COUNTY. THESE STORMS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL WERE
MOVING NORTHEAST AT 10 MPH. ADDITIONAL STORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY 
RAINFALL ARE EXPECTED TO MOVE INTO MITCHELL COUNTY THROUGH 515 PM. 
THESE STORMS MAY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS.
