IN EFFECT UNTIL 200 AM CST FOR AREAS GENERALLY ALONG AND WEST OF A
LINE FROM LIVINGSTON TO CONROE TO BROOKSHIRE TO PIERCE TO EDNA.
HARRIS COUNTY AND FORT BEND COUNTY ARE NOT IN THIS WATCH...BUT
SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS MAY GET VERY CLOSE TO THEM GENERALLY FROM
MIDNIGHT TO 200 AM.

NOW APPROACHING THE DEL RIO AREA...AND THIS FEATURE WILL ALLOW
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS TO MOVE INTO SOUTHEAST TEXAS AS THE REST
OF THE EVENING AND THE NIGHT PROGRESSES. DESPITE THE LOSS OF DAYTIME
HEATING...THE RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CONTINUES...ESPECIALLY
ACROSS OUR FAR WESTERN COUNTIES IN THE NEXT FEW HOURS WITH LOW WET
BULB ZEROS PER 00Z AREA SOUNDINGS. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH
REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WESTERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS UNTIL
9 PM. LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN IS STILL EXPECTED TO DEVELOP ACROSS
PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS OVERNIGHT.

CURRENT ZONES LOOK GOOD. NO CHANGES WILL BE MADE AT THIS TIME.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT AND WEDNESDAY.
AN UPPER LEVEL STORM SYSTEM WILL APPROACH SOUTHEAST TEXAS FROM THE
WEST TODAY. SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP LATE
THIS AFTERNOON OVER THE HILL COUNTRY AND MOVE SOUTHEAST TOWARD THE
REGION. THE THERE IS A SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS LATE
THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS.
THE PRIMARY SEVERE WEATHER THREAT WILL BE LARGE HAIL...WITH DAMAGING
DOWNBURST WIND GUSTS ALSO POSSIBLE.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL BECOME MORE NUMEROUS AND SPREAD
OVER THE REST OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS THIS EVENING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL
IS POSSIBLE ACROSS ALL OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS TONIGHT. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
OVERNIGHT WILL AVERAGE 1/2 TO 1 INCH WITH ISOLATED TOTALS OF NEAR 3
INCHES POSSIBLE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED AGAIN ON FRIDAY AS A STRONG
CANADIAN COLD FRONT MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. SOME THUNDERSTORMS
COULD BE STRONG. IN ADDITION LOW TEMPERATURES SUNDAY MORNING COULD
BE IN THE MID 30S ACROSS THE NORTHERN PORTIONS OF THE AREA.
