...SLIGHT RISK OF SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS AND HEAVY RAINFALL OVER
SOUTHEAST TEXAS AGAIN TODAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR SOUTHEAST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE HILL COUNTRY WILL MOVE
SOUTHEAST AND REACH THE FAR WESTERN PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST TEXAS
AROUND MID-MORNING. THE STORMS ARE EXPECTED TO WEAKEN SOMEWHAT
BEFORE REACHING SOUTHEAST TEXAS. HOWEVER...THERE IS STILL A SMALL
THREAT OF THE STORMS PRODUCING DAMAGING WINDS MAINLY OVER
BURLESON...BRAZOS...AND MADISON COUNTIES.

ELSEWHERE OVER SOUTHEAST TEXAS...SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
WILL DEVELOP TODAY AS A SERIES OF OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES INTERACTS WITH
A MOIST AND UNSTABLE AIRMASS IN PLACE OVER THE AREA. ACTIVITY WILL
BE SLOW MOVING AND SOME OF THE STORMS WILL PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL.
RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL AVERAGE 1/4 TO 1/2 INCH ACROSS SOUTHEAST TEXAS
TODAY...BUT THE HEAVIEST ACTIVITY COULD PRODUCE LOCALIZED 2 TO 4
INCH AMOUNTS. HEAVY RAINFALL MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING PROBLEMS
MAINLY IN AREAS THAT HAVE SEEN HEAVY RAINS IN THE LAST FEW DAYS.

IN ADDITION...A FEW SEVERE STORMS ARE POSSIBLE OVER SOUTHEAST TEXAS
THIS AFTERNOON...WITH DIME SIZED HAIL AND DOWNBURST WINDS THE MAIN
THREATS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

FRIDAY...ANOTHER UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHEAST
TEXAS PRODUCING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL OR SEVERE WEATHER WILL AGAIN BE POSSIBLE. LATER FORECASTS
WILL FURTHER PINPOINT THIS SEVERE WEATHER AND HEAVY RAINFALL THREAT.

SATURDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY...NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED.
