THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
BEXAR
* UNTIL 300 PM CDT
* AT 105 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
RAINS MOVING NORTHWEST AT 25 MPH INTO SOUTHERN BEXAR COUNTY.
THIS BAND OF HEAVY RAINS WILL MOVE OVER AREAS THAT HAS ALREADY
RECEIVED UP TO 1 AND 1/2 INCHES OVER THE PAST TWO HOURS. SOIL
CONDITIONS ARE ALREADY SATURATED...AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL
QUICKLY RUNOFF. THIS EXCESSIVE RUNOFF WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
