THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TOPEKA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST KANSAS

* UNTIL 215 PM CDT

* AT 1115 AM...REPORTS OF TWO TO THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL SINCE 10
AM HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN THE CITY OF TOPEKA.  THIS HAS CAUSED FLASH
FLOODING WITH CARS BEING ABANDONED IN LOW SPOTS.  THESE STORMS ARE
MOVING INTO JEFFERSON COUNTY...AND MORE ARE ON THE WAY THROUGH EARLY
AFTERNOON.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED...
  GRANTVILLE
  MERIDEN
  PERRY
  WINCHESTER
  OZAWKIE

DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. THE WATER
MAY BE VERY DEEP. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED.

CROSS BRIDGES OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD. NEVER TRY TO
