  CENTRAL MEAGHER COUNTY IN CENTRAL MONTANA HAS BEEN EXTENDED
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS

* UNTIL 945 PM MDT

* AT 855 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A 
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 19 MILES NORTHWEST OF WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS...

.SHORT TERM...WILL UPDATE THIS EVENING. SEVERE CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY
CONTINUING ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE SOUTHWEST. STORMS HAVE PRODUCED
SOME HAIL BUT REPORTS OF STRONG WIND HAVE ALSO BEEN RECEIVED. RADAR
INDICATES ACTIVITY BEGINNING TO DECREASE AT THIS TIME WITH THE
STRONGEST CELL MOVING INTO WESTERN MEAGHER COUNTY. UPPER TROF MOVING
INLAND ACROSS NEVADA WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE EAST AND WEAKEN
SATURDAY. STRONG BACKING FLOW ALOFT OVER THE AREA AGAIN SATURDAY
WITH CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY A GOOD BET. EMANUEL

.EXTENDED...NO SIGNIFICANT CHANGES TO THE EXTENDED FORECAST. STRONG
UPPER RIDGE BUILDS OVER WESTERN MONTANA LATE TUESDAY. RIDGE REMAINS
IN PLACE OVER THE CWA THROUGH FRIDAY WITH VERY WARM TEMPERATURES AND
DRY CONDITIONS. GOOD AGREEMENT EXISTS BETWEEN THE ECMWF AND MRF WITH
ONLY MINOR DIFFERENCES IN POSITION OF RIDGE AXIS. MODELS DO TRY TO
BRING WEAK IMPULSES THROUGH THE RIDGE FROM TIME TO TIME THROUGH THE
PERIOD BUT SUBSIDENCE SHOULD BE TOO STRONG TO INITIATE ANY
