WEEKEND. UPPER LOW WILL MEANDER AROUND OVER THE PAC NW THROUGH FRI.
ON SAT AVN OPENS THE CLOSED LOW AND MOVES A VERY NEGATIVELY TILTED
UPPER TROUGH THROUGH THE FORECAST AREA. PRESSURE GRADIENTS WILL
CONTINUE TO BE WEAK THROUGH THE PERIOD SO EXPECT WINDS TO BE FOR THE

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER SOUTHWEST MONTANA BY NOON
THEN BECOME MORE NUMEROUS THIS AFTERNOON AND SPREAD NORTH DURING THE
AFTERNOON. A FEW STORMS MAY REACH SEVERE LEVELS...WITH WINDS GREATER
THAN 60 MPH AND HAIL LARGER THAN 3/4 INCH IN DIAMETER. THE GREATEST
THREAT FOR SEVERE WEATHER WILL BE SOUTH AND EAST OF A LINE FROM
LEWISTOWN TO GREAT FALLS TO DILLON. THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER IN
SOUTHWEST MONTANA WILL BE FROM 3 PM UNTIL 7 PM WHILE THE THREAT OF
SEVERE WEATHER OVER CENTRAL MONTANA WILL BE FROM 5 PM UNTIL 9 PM.
