SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   NORTH DAKOTA                       

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY NIGHT AND SUNDAY MORNING FROM 530 PM UNTIL
MIDNIGHT CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 75 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 70 MILES NORTHWEST OF MINOT NORTH
DAKOTA TO 65 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF DICKINSON NORTH DAKOTA.

MORE WIDESPREAD WIND DAMAGE SHOULD SPREAD FROM WEST TO EAST ACROSS
WW BEGINNING EARLY THIS EVENING...AS STRONG UPPER SYSTEM FORCES A
SQUALL LINE OUT OF MT.  ISOLATED SUPERCELLS ARE ALSO LIKELY...
ESPECIALLY INTO NWRN ND WHERE COLLOCATION OF SHEAR...INSTABILITY
AND LOWER LCLS WILL EXIST.
