SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   NORTH CENTRAL NORTH DAKOTA                       

EFFECTIVE THIS MONDAY MORNING FROM 415 AM UNTIL 900 AM CDT.

HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 60 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 55 MILES NORTH NORTHEAST OF MINOT
NORTH DAKOTA TO 15 MILES EAST OF BISMARCK NORTH DAKOTA.

SURFACE CONDITIONS...LOCALLY DAMAGING WIND GUSTS AND LARGE HAIL
WILL REMAIN POSSIBLE FOR A FEW MORE HOURS AS STORMS TRACK TOWARD
CANADIAN BORDER.

AVIATION...A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL SURFACE AND ALOFT
TO 2 INCHES.  EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND GUSTS TO 70
