SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   FAR SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO                         
   WEST TEXAS                              

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING FROM 600 PM UNTIL 1000
PM CDT.

HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 70
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 50 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 30 MILES SOUTH SOUTHEAST OF FORT
STOCKTON TEXAS TO 35 MILES NORTHWEST OF AMARILLO TEXAS.

REMEMBER...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE
FAVORABLE FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS IN AND CLOSE TO THE WATCH AREA.

TX.  GREATEST THREAT FOR HIGH WINDS WILL EXIST WITH THE MORE
SUSTAINED STORMS THROUGH EARLY TONIGHT.
