CLIPPING THE EXTREME NORTHERN BIG COUNTRY. MCS WILL LEAVE AN OUTFLOW BOUNDARY ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY FOR LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. FARTHER NORTH...BEST GUESS IS THAT THE ACTUAL COLD FRONT IS FARTHER NORTH...STRETCHING FROM NORTH OF KLBB TO WESTERN OKLAHOMA. ALOFT ...RIDGE HAS SHIFTED FARTHER SOUTHWEST AS EXPECTED...LEAVING NORTHWEST FLOW ACROSS THE AREA. 12Z UPPER AIR ANALYSIS ALSO INDICATED VERY STEEP MID LEVEL LAPSE RATES POISED ACROSS EASTERN NEW MEXICO AND THE TEXAS SOUTH PLAINS AND PANHANDLE. SEVERAL CONCERNS FOR TONIGHT. FIRST...WILL CONVECTION FIRE ALONG THE OUTFLOW BOUNDARY ACROSS THE BIG COUNTRY.
