TONIGHT THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT...

MODELS PRETTY CLOSE IN THE MASS FIELDS IN LIFTING A WARM FRONT NORTH
OF THE REGION LATER THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT. MUST MODIFY MODEL
QPF FIELDS TONIGHT AS I BELIEVE A DEVELOPING MCS UP NORTH WILL RIDE
DOWN ALONG LIFTING WARM FRONT. BEST QPF TONIGHT IS EXPECTED ACROSS
SOUTHEAST OHIO AND NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA. SO POPS HIGHEST ACROSS
NORTH TONIGHT. FOR TUESDAY INTO THE DAY WEDNESDAY...MORE OF A
SCATTERED DIURNAL CONVECTION SCENARIO IN THE VERY WARM AND MOIST
ATMOSPHERE AS SURFACE BOUNDARY WILL BE WELL NORTH. WILL NOT JUMP ON
MODELS PULLING UP A SWATH OF QPF FROM THE NORTHERN GULF OF MEXICO
SYSTEM AS MODELS KEEP IT MEANDERING DOWN SOUTH. WILL KEEP LOW POPS
FOR MAINLY AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING CONVECTION TUESDAY AND
TUESDAY NIGHT. NEW MODEL RUNS INDICATE COLD FRONT MAY BE A BIT
SLOWER AFFECTING AREA FOR WEDNESDAY...SO WILL KEEP LOW POPS FOR ALL
EXCEPT WEST OF THE OHIO RIVER. LIKELY POPS EXPECTED WEDNESDAY NIGHT
AS COLD BEGINS TO MOVE ACROSS SLOWLY. MOS GUIDANCE TEMPERATURES IN
GOOD AGREEMENT AND WILL FOLLOW CLOSELY.

THURSDAY THROUGH NEXT MONDAY...

AS A RESULT OF DISCUSSION WITH SURROUNDING OFFICES AND LATEST MODEL
DATA...WILL TRIM BACK PRECIP ON THURSDAY. COLD FRONT EXPECTED TO
PUSH THROUGH CWA A LITTLE QUICKER...AND LEAVE THURSDAY EVE THROUGH
THE WEEKEND DRY. AS FOR NEXT MONDAY...WILL INTRODUCE POPS ONCE
AGAIN AHEAD OF NEXT COLD FRONT.
