* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WAKE COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA
  JOHNSTON COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 415 PM EDT

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAIN OVER WAKE 
AND NORTHERN JOHNSTON COUNTIES. A WEATHER SPOTTER REPORTED 2.4 
INCHES OF RAIN IN NORTH RALEIGH DURING THE PAST 2 HOURS...AND AN 
ADDITIONAL 2 INCHES OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH 400 PM.

* FLOODING WILL BE MOST LIKELY ALONG CRABTREE AND SWIFT CREEKS IN 
WAKE COUNTY...AND ON BUFFALO CREEK AND THE LITTLE RIVER IN JOHNSTON 
COUNTY. DRIVERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR FLOODING ON BRIDGES ACROSS 
SMALLER STREAMS. FLOODING MAY AFFECT U.S. ROUTE 70 BETWEEN RALEIGH 
AND SMITHFIELD.
