THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL CRENSHAW COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ALABAMA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF GLENWOOD

* UNTIL 1015 AM CST

* AT 813 AM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED WIDESPREAD
  SHOWERS WITH A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS CRENSHAW COUNTY
  MOVING EAST AT 45 MPH.  VERY HEAVY RAINS FROM THUNDERSTORMS
  EARLIER IN THE NIGHT HAS PRODUCES EXCESSIVE RUNOFF THAT HAS
  RESULTED IN WATER IN SEVERAL HOMES IN THE CITY OF GLENWOOD.  THE
  PEOPLE LIVING IN THESE HOMES HAVE BEEN EVACUATED.  MINOR NUISANCE
  FLOODING DUE TO SWOLLEN STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS
  THE REMAINDER OF CRENSHAW COUNTY...INCLUDING FLOODED STREETS IN
  THE CITY OF LUVERNE.  THE FLOOD WATERS WILL RECEDE LATER THIS
  MORNING AS THE RUNOFF SUBSIDES.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE 
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS 
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY 
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK 
HIGHER GROUND.
