SATELLITE AND RADAR IMAGERY INDICATE CONVECTION BEGINNING OVER AREA..AS EXPECTED. SHORT TERM: BIG QUESTION IS THE DEVELOPMENT OF LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM ALONG THE SOUTHEAST COAST. AVN HAS BEEN THE MOST PROGRESSIVE...WITH THE ETA PICKING UP ON IT WITH THIS MORNINGS RUN. THE SYSTEM APPEARS TO HAVE GOOD UPPER AIR SUPPORT WITH 500 MB TROUGH/VORT MAX. PREFER THE ETA SOLUTION FOR NOW...AND WILL RAISE TO POPS TO 50 PERCENT ON WEDNESDAY OVER EASTERN PORTIONS OF THE FORECAST AREA...AND SLIGHTLY LOWER TO THE WEST.
