* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
WHITLEY COUNTY
WESTERN KNOX COUNTY
* UNTIL 1115 AM EDT
* AT 808 AM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM NEAR WILTON TO 3 MILES
WEST OF KRUPP...OR FROM 9 MILES WEST OF BARBOURVILLE TO 9 MILES
NORTHWEST OF WILLIAMSBURG. RAINFALL OF 2 TO 4 INCHES LIKELY
OCCURRED IN THIS AREA BETWEEN 7 AND 8 AM. THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE
DRIFTING VERY SLOWLY TO THE WEST.
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO
TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN
DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO
ALLOW YOU TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD
