THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN WICHITA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BUTLER COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 1145 PM CDT

* AT 732 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THAT THUNDERSTORMS 
PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE AREA 
OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. DUE TO SATURATED GROUND FROM HEAVY RAINFALL 
THURSDAY NIGHT...ANY ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL QUICKLY BECOME RUNOFF. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...ROADS AND AREAS WITH POOR
DRAINAGE. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT...WHEN IT IS HARDER TO
RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING
IS OBSERVED... MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
