Did it verify

Not verified. The Iowa Environmental Mesonet's Cow found no qualifying storm report inside this severe thunderstorm warning while it was in force. That is not proof nothing happened: reports are thin where few people live.

Cow counts a report within 15 km of the polygon while the warning was in force: a tornado for a tornado warning; hail of 1 inch or more, a gust of 58 mph or more or wind damage for a severe thunderstorm warning; a flash flood report for a flash flood warning.

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HASTINGS NE

...TIMING TSRA CHCS THIS WEEK WILL BE THE MAIN CHALLENGE...

BASICALLY ZONAL FLOW ACROSS CNTRL PLAINS. PER 12Z UAA AND WATER VAPOR
ANOTHER STRONG UPPER WAVE IS DROPPING SE THROUGH MT. 90KT JET HELPING
TO STREAM A NICE AREA OF MID/UPPER CLDS RIGHT OVER CWA. TRAPPED UNDER
THIS IS A SOLID STRATUS DECK TO THE NORTH OF STATIONARY->WARM FRONT
ACROSS CENTRAL KANSAS. HENCE...EROSION OF CLOUDS HAS BEEN VERY SLOW
AND NORTHWARD PROGRESS OF FRONT LIMITED. STRONG CAPPING HAS EXPANDED
INTO AREA...WITH 16C H7 TEMPS AT LBF/DDC. THIS WILL INHIBIT ACTIVITY
UNTIL THIS EVENING AS UPPER WAVE/ASSOCD COLD FRONT IMPINGES ON AREA.
GIVEN KS FRONTAL POSITION AND RATHER QUICK NW TO SE PUSH WITH COLD
FRONT THIS EVENING...IT APPEARS TSRAS CHCS WILL BE LIMITED TO SOUTH.
WILL REARRANGE ZONES FOR THIS. STILL NOT SURE I WANT TO COMMIT TO
LIKELY POPS AS THE FORCING THAT FINALLY FIRES STORMS MAY FOCUS THINGS
SE OF AREA PRETTY QUICKLY.

BEYOND TONIGHT...PATTERN GRADUALLY SHIFTS TO WSW FLOW AS ANOTHER WAVE
DROPS INTO WRN CONUS FROM BC. THIS WILL SET UP A STRING OF WAVES THIS
WEEK. FIRST ONE WILL BRING OVERRUNNING PRECIP CHCS ON MONDAY NIGHT AS
LLVL FRONT LIFTS BACK NORTH ACROSS KANSAS. LATE TUE/TUE NIGHT WILL
PROBABLY BE DRY AS FRONT LIFTS NORTH OF AREA. HWVR...THIS WILL BE A
CLOSE CALL. WED/THU TSRA CHCS STILL LOOK REASONABLE. BY THU NIGHT...
FLOW IS IN PROCESS OF SHIFTING TO NW AS ANOTHER STRONG WAVES DROPS SE
OUT OF SC CANADA. THIS WILL PROBABLY BE THE GRAND FINALE...BEFORE
DRIER NW FLOW PUSHES TSRA SOUTH/WEST OF CWA.

TEMPS TO REMAIN COOL ON MONDAY IN EAST FLOW BEHIND TONIGHT FRONT. TUE
WILL BE WARMER...BUT HOW MUCH? WILL BACK OFF CURRENT FCST IN THE U80S
TO M90S...ESP NRN AREAS. GUIDANCE SUGGESTS TEMPS 3-5 DEG COOLER. WED
AND THU TO REMAIN AOA NORMAL...DEPENDING ON CLOUDCOVER DURING DAY.
FRI IS TRANSITION AS NW FLOW PUSHES COLD FRONT THRU AREA. RELATIVELY
COOL/DRY OVER THE WEEKEND.

.GID...NONE.
