* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  GRAND FORKS COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA...
  WESTERN POLK COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA AND
  NORTHERN TRAILL COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA.

* UNTIL 730 AM CDT.

* AT 1122 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE ALONG A LINE
  EXTENDING FROM 5 MILES NORTHEAST OF MANVEL TO 2 MILES SOUTHWEST OF
  HOLMES...OR ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 15 MILES NORTH OF GRAND
  FORKS TO 19 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GRAND FORKS...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE
  EAST AT 30 MPH. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS
  THE AREA DURING THE OVERNIGHT.

* GRAND FORKS...LARIMORE...EAST GRAND FORKS...THOMPSON AND 
  CROOKSTON WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
  2 TO 4 INCHES CAN BE EXPECTED IN THESE STORMS. 


MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN THE DANGERS OF FLASH FLOODING
ARE HARD TO RECOGNIZE.

TO MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER GROUND.
