THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  MARSHALL COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 430 PM CDT.

* AT 1020 AM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND SLOWLY MOVE 
ACROSS MARSHALL COUNTY.

* STEPHEN...ARGYLE...MIDDLE RIVER AND STRANDQUIST WILL BE AFFECTED 
BY THE HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT FROM 2 TO 3 INCH OF 
RAIN HAD FALLEN OVER THE FROM 830 TO 1020 THIS MORNING. AN 
ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE INCHES IS POSSIBLE FROM STEPHEN TO MIDDLE 
RIVER. PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE TAMARAC AND MIDDLE RIVERS NEED TO BE 
ON THE LOOKOUT FOR RAPIDLY RISING WATER. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
