THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  NORMAN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 315 AM CDT.

* AT 908 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHWEST ACROSS 
NORMAN COUNTY. 

* ADA...TWIN VALLEY...LOCKHART...HADLER AND RANUM 
WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES
INDICATE THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE PAST FEW 
HOURS OVER THE TWIN VALLEY...SYRE AND FLOM AREAS. AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 
4 INCHES OF RAINFALL IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA OVER THE NEXT FEW 
HOURS. PERSONS LIVING ALONG THE WILD RICE RIVER NEED TO WATCH FOR 
RISING WATER AND MOVE TO HIGH GROUND IF THREATENED. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
