THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  MAHNOMEN COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 215 AM CDT.

* AT 818 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO MOVE NORTHEAST ACROSS 
THE COUNTY WITH ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE TO 
DEPOSIT AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO THREE INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE NEXT
FEW HOURS. 

* MAHNOMEN...WAUBUN...BEJOU...PINE BEND AND ISLANDLAKE WILL BE   
AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT RAINFALL 
AMOUNTS FROM TWO TO FOUR INCHES HAD ALREADY FALLEN OVER THE 
NORTHEAST PORTION OF THE COUNTY WITH ONE TO THREE INCHES INDICATED 
ALONG THE WILD RICE RIVER.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
