THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
BEXAR
ATASCOSA
* UNTIL NOON CDT
* AT 927 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
BETWEEN CHARLOTTE AND HINDES WITH WIDESPREAD MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN
ELSEWHERE ACROSS ATASCOSA AND MAINLY SOUTHERN BEXAR COUNTY.
THE RAINS WERE MOVING SLOWLY TO THE NORTH AT 5 TO 10 MPH.
RAINFALL RATES OF 2 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR ARE ESTIMATED BETWEEN
CHARLOTTE AND HINDES WITH RATES OF ONE-HALF TO ONE AND ONE-HALF
INCH PER HOUR ELSEWHERE.
EVEN THOUGH RAINFALL RATES WILL SLOWLY DECREASE...RUNOFF WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH AT LEAST THE MORNING HOURS.
