EDWARDS REAL * UNTIL 830 PM CDT * AT 637 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER EASTERN EDWARDS AND NORTHERN REAL COUNTIES MOVING SLOWLY SOUTH. * THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR WILL BE OVER REAL AND EDWARDS COUNTIES FOR THE NEXT COUPLE HOURS. 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAINFALL WILL RUNOFF AND CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES... AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
