THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  KERR
  BANDERA

* UNTIL 700 PM CDT

* AT 443 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF 
  THUNDERSTORMS VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE SOUTHERN HALF OF KERR 
  COUNTY AND CENTRAL BANDERA COUNTY.  THESE STORMS ARE MOVING SOUTH 
  AT 20 MPH BUT ARE TRAINING OVER THE SAME AREAS.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH THE HEAVIEST RAINS WILL BE...         
  ALONG HIGHWAY 16 BETWEEN KERRVILL AND MEDINA.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO
TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN STEEP TERRAIN.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS
THE ROADWAY. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
ONE...ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND.
CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING 
THREATENING RAINS.
