DISCUSSION...MORNING CONVECTION ACROSS THE EASTERN FA/COASTAL
SECTIONS APPEARED TO TEMPORARILY STABILIZE THE BOUNDARY LAYER
THROUGH MUCH OF THIS AFTERNOON ACROSS INLAND SECTIONS AS COMPARED TO
YESTERDAY..HOWEVER CONVECTIVE INITIATION HAS BEGUN ACROSS THE NERN
CWA AND JUST TO THE SOUTH OF KLEBERG CO AS THE SEABREEZE PROVIDES
CONVERGENT FOCUS.  EXPECT ISOLATED TO SCATTERED CONVECTION TO
PREVAIL THIS EVENING..MAINLY EAST OF A LINE FROM ALICE TO THREE
RIVERS AND WEST OF THE SERN COASTAL BEND WHERE SEABREEZE HAS
STABILIZED THE AREA.

POTENTIAL FOR CONVECTION WILL BE PREVALENT THROUGH MUCH OF THE
UPCOMING FORECAST CYCLE..WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED ACTIVITY
TOMORROW THROUGH AIRMASS/SEABREEZE CONVERGENCE..AIDED BY LIFT FROM A
SOUTHWARD MOVING SHORTWAVE TROF.  AIRMASS VARIETY CONVECTION WILL
EXIST ON FRIDAY..ALTHOUGH AREA WILL BE PLACED BEHIND THE VORT.  THE
GREATEST POTENTIAL FOR RAINFALL WILL OCCUR THIS WEEKEND AS PWATS
INCREASE INTO THE 2.0-2.5 INCH RANGE ALONG WITH CONVERGENCE
ASSOCIATED WITH AN INLAND PROGRESSING WAVE/INVERTED MID-UPR LEVEL
TROF.  RAINFALL CHANCES DECREASE AFTER SUNDAY TO MORE
CLIMATOLOGICAL/ISOLATED VALUES.

MARINE...CONVECTION REMAINING WELL OFFSHORE THIS AFTERNOON. HOWEVER
SHOWERS AND STORMS TO INCREASE AGAIN OVERNIGHT ESPECIALLY OVER
NORTHERN PARTS OF THE MARINE AREA AS ETA AND AVN SHOW INCREASING
MOISTURE CONVERGENCE.  GRADIENT PROGGED TO TIGHTEN AS SURFACE LOW
DEVELOPS OVER FAR WEST TEXAS.  THINK THAT PERIODIC SCEC CONDITIONS
ARE LIKELY FOR THE NEXT FEW DAYS...MAINLY OVER THE BAYS AND
BEGINNING TONIGHT. SURFACE REFLECTION OF INVERTED TROUGH WILL CAUSE
SOME BACKING AND DIMINSHING OF WINDS WITH A CONTINUED CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND STORMS.
