CLOUDS HAVE KEPT TEMPERATURES DOWN OVER THE WESTERN ZONES...BUT THE
EAST HAS BROKE 100 AGAIN.  COOLER TEMPERAUTRES IN THE WEST MAY
PREVENT SURFACE BASED CONVECTION.  HOWEVER...SUFFICIENT FORCING SHOULD
BE PRESENT THIS EVENING OVER SOUTHWEST MT/NORTHWEST WY FOR
ELEVATED CONVECTION TO DEVELOP IF SURFACE BASED TSTORMS CANT GET
GOING.  SATURDAY WILL BE A MORE INTERESTING DAY AS A PACIFIC FRONT
HEADS THROUGH THE AREA.  CONVECTION WILL ALSO BE POSSIBLE...BUT IT
APPEARS THE COLD FRONT MAY RUN OUT AHEAD OF THE FORCING ALOFT AND
RESULT IN ELEVATED CONVECTION SATURDAY EVENING.  WILL HIT MUCH OF THE
AREA WITH CHANCE POPS.  COOLER CONDITIONS ARE IN STORE FOR SUNDAY. A
DRIER ATMOSPHERE SHOULD PREVENT STORMS FROM DEVELOPING.  MOORE

MODELS CONTINUE TO AGREE ON KEEPING ZONAL FLOW OVER WESTERN US THROUGH
TUESDAY...WITH ANY SHOWER ACTIVITY REMAINING WELL TO THE NORTH OF THE
FORECAST AREA. ANOTHER UPPER LOW APPROACHES THE NW US TUESDAY INTO
WEDNESDAY AND SHOULD RESULT IN UNSETTLED WEATHER FOR THE REMAINDER OF
THE EXTENDED. MODELS NOT LINING UP VERY WELL WITH THE TIMING AND TRACK
OF THE UPPER LOW AT THIS TIME. THE UKMET BRINGS THE LOW FURTHER SOUTH
BEFORE MOVING IT ON SHORE RESULTING IN MORE FAVORABLE SOUTHWEST FLOW
OVER SOUTHERN MONTANA. ECMWF AND MRF ARE A LITTLE MORE NORTH AND EAST
WITH THE LOW AND ARE HINTING AT A MORE ZONAL FLOW THROUGH THE PERIOD.
MORE ZONAL FLOW WOULD LEAD TO LESS CHANCE FOR THUNDERSTORMS...BUT WITH
