SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTY IN WESTERN NEW YORK * UNTIL 545 PM EDT * AT 429 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN 6 MILES SOUTH OF LYONS...OR ABOUT 8 MILES NORTH OF GENEVA. THUNDERSTORMS ALONG THE ONTARIO...WAYNE COUNTY BORDER ARE EDGING NORTH INTO SOUTHERN WAYNE COUNTY NEAR NEWARK AND LYONS. RADAR INDICATES RAINFALL RATES OF UP TO 2 INCHES AN HOUR ARE POSSIBLE.
