  NORTHWESTERN HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY IN FLORIDA.

* UNTIL 330 PM EDT.

* AT 254 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...OVER EGYPT
  LAKE.  THE STORM WAS NEARLY STATIONARY.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT...
  TAMPA.
  LAKE MAGDALENE.
  UNIVERSITY WEST.

BROOKSVILLE TO NEAR MELBOURNE THIS MORNING WITH EAST TO SOUTHEAST
FLOW SOUTH OF IT AND MAINLY LIGHT AND VARIABLE FLOW NORTH OF THIS
LINE.  MORNING SOUNDING INDICATING A LITTLE BIT MORE MOISTURE THAN
YESTERDAY WITH PW NEAR 1.8...BUT STILL RELATIVELY WEAK STEERING
FLOW.  CURRENT ZONES APPEAR ON TRACK WITH SCATTERED LATE AFTERNOON
AND EVENING THUNDERSTORMS STILL EXPECTED AND NO UPDATE PLANNED.

WINDS OVER COASTAL WATERS KIND OF VARIABLE ACROSS NORTHERN WATERS AT
THIS TIME AND EAST SOUTHEAST OVER CENTRAL AND SOUTHERN.  WINDS
SHOULD BECOME SOUTH EXCEPT ONSHORE NEAR THE COAST ACROSS NORTH AS
