TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   EXTREME SOUTHEAST ILLINOIS                           
   WESTERN KENTUCKY                           
   WESTERN AND MIDDLE TENNESSEE                          

EFFECTIVE THIS SATURDAY MORNING FROM 700 AM UNTIL 1100 AM CST.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO
70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 60 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 65 MILES SOUTHEAST OF JACKSON TENNESSEE TO 20 MILES
NORTHWEST OF OWENSBORO KENTUCKY.

REMEMBER...A TORNADO WATCH MEANS CONDITIONS ARE FAVORABLE FOR

SHOW CELL ROTATION WITHIN THESE REGIONS...SUGGESTING AN INCREASED
SEVERE THREAT.  VAD DATA SHOW 50-60 KT WINDS WITHIN THE LOWEST 1-2
KM AND INTENSE LOW LEVEL SHEAR/HELICITY INDICATING CONTINUED THREAT
FOR SUPERCELLS AND POSSIBLE TORNADOES.

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 1 INCH...EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
