TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

EAST CENTRAL AND NORTHEAST FLORIDA                            
EXTREME SOUTHEAST GEORGIA                            
ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS                     

EFFECTIVE THIS FRIDAY MORNING AND AFTERNOON FROM 1100 AM UNTIL 500
PM EDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 0.5 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 70 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 40 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 15 MILES WEST OF BRUNSWICK GEORGIA TO 25 MILES
SOUTHEAST OF MELBOURNE FLORIDA.

GRADUALLY DEVELOP NWD FROM THE MLB AREA TOWARD JAX THIS
AFTERNOON... WHERE 0-1 KM SRH VALUES IN EXCESS OF 300 M2/S2 IN THE
MOIST TROPICAL AIR MASS WILL SUPPORT EMBEDDED SUPERCELLS AND A FEW
TORNADOES.
