TORNADO WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF

   SOUTHWESTERN OKLAHOMA                           
   EXTREME NORTHWESTERN TEXAS                              

EFFECTIVE THIS WEDNESDAY MORNING FROM 100 AM UNTIL 400 AM CDT.

TORNADOES...HAIL TO 2 INCHES IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS
TO 80 MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE TORNADO WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 55 STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST
OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF CLINTON OKLAHOMA TO 40 MILES
WEST SOUTHWEST OF WICHITA FALLS TEXAS.

AIR MASS REMAIN FAVORABLE FOR SUPERCELLS WITH LARGE HAIL AND
DAMAGING WINDS. STRONGLY CURVED HODOGRAPHS AND STORM RELATIVE
HELICITY OVER 300 M**2/S**2 INDICATE A POTENTIAL FOR ISOLATED
TORNADOES.   

AVIATION...TORNADOES AND A FEW SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WITH HAIL
SURFACE AND ALOFT TO 2 INCHES.  EXTREME TURBULENCE AND SURFACE WIND
GUSTS TO 70 KNOTS.  A FEW CUMULONIMBI WITH MAXIMUM TOPS TO 550.
