   NORTHERN FLORIDA                            
   COASTAL WATERS                     

EFFECTIVE THIS SUNDAY MORNING FROM 515 AM UNTIL 1100 AM EST.

HAIL TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER...THUNDERSTORM WIND GUSTS TO 80
MPH...AND DANGEROUS LIGHTNING ARE POSSIBLE IN THESE AREAS.

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS ALONG AND 65 STATUTE MILES
EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 80 MILES SOUTH OF GAINESVILLE FLORIDA
TO 15 MILES EAST NORTHEAST OF JACKSONVILLE FLORIDA.

GULF IS SHOWING SIGNS OF INCREASING ORGANIZATION AS SMALL BOW
ECHOES AND TRANSIENT LEWPS DEVELOP.  VAD WINDS SHOW STRONG VEERING
TO SWLY FLOW JUST ABOVE THE GROUND RESULTING IN FAVORABLE SHEAR TO
SUPPORT BOW ECHOES.  DRY AIR ABOVE THE BOUNDARY LAYER IS ALSO
EXPECTED TO ENHANCE WIND DAMAGE POTENTIAL WITH STORMS.
