NORTHWESTERN GARFIELD COUNTY IN UTAH * UNTIL 430 PM MDT * AT 244 PM MDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER WEST CENTRAL GARFIELD COUNTY...OR ABOUT 22 MILES SOUTH OF JUNCTION. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. HEAVY RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER THE SEVIER PLATEAU. AS A RESULT HIGH WATER IS EXPECTED IN HUNT CREEK FLOWING INTO THE JOHNS VALLEY AND THE CREEKS FLOWING INTO THE TOWN OF PANGUITCH. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
