THE UPPER LEVEL TROUGH OVERRUNS THE DRYLINE. PER GOES SOUNDING...CAPES
1500-2000 J/KG WITH NO INHIBITION OVER WEST CENTRAL TEXAS AT THE MOMENT.
HOWEVER...MOISTURE RATHER SHALLOW AS 850 MB DEWPOINTS ONLY IN THE SINGLE
DIGITS CELCIUS. DEEPER MOISTURE CONFINED TO EASTERN TEXAS.

PROXIMITY TO UPPER CONFLUENT ZONE AND ASSOCIATED LARGE SCALE SINKING
MOTION TO RESULT IN BENIGN WEATHER CONDITIONS MONDAY AND TUESDAY. HIGH
PRESSURE ALSO DOMINATE IN LOW LEVELS...BLOCKING ANY MOISTURE INTRUSIONS
FROM THE GULF. MAIN CONCERN TEMPERATURES ON MONDAY...AS COOLER AIR FILTERS
INTO THE AREA. ETA BULLISH WITH COLD AIR ADVECTION...ESPECIALLY ACROSS
THE BIG COUNTRY. AVN/NGM NOT AS AGRESSIVE...WITH 70S ACROSS THE BOARD.
BASED ON CURRENT READINGS IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE...HAVE DECIDED TO SPLIT
THE DIFFERENCE. INCREASING CLOUDS TUESDAY NIGHT AS GULF OPENS AHEAD OF
THE NEXT SYSTEM.

SPEAKING OF THAT NEXT SYSTEM...AVN TRACK FAVORABLE...TAKING UPPER LOW FROM
OZONA TO ABILENE ON WEDNESDAY. DEPTH OF MOISTURE IN QUESTION...HOWEVER.
NOT SURE IF GULF WILL BE OPEN FOR BUSINESS LONG ENOUGH TO ALLOW FOR
MEANINGFUL RAINFALL. TIME WILL TELL. ANOTHER SHORTWAVE TROUGH PROGD RIGHT
ON THE HEELS OF THE UPPER LOW FOR THURSDAY. MUCH COOLER FRIDAY AN8D SATURDAY
