CEDAR COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI * UNTIL 830 PM CDT * AT 527 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM CAPLINGER MILLS TO STOCKTON AND THE STOCKTON LAKE AREA. THIS HEAVY RAIN IS IN ADDITION TO THE 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN THAT FELL OVER PORTIONS OF THE COUNTY EARLIER TODAY. * SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA. AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 645 PM. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE EL DORADO SPRINGS...AND STOCKTON. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
