THE AIRMASS IS MOIST AND UNSTABLE OVER THE EASTERN SIERRA AND WRN NV
TODAY WITH GENERALLY LIGHT FLOW ALOFT.  A WEAK UPPER TROUGH IS SPLIT
BETWEEN A WEAKER AND SLOWER MOVING PORTION OFF NRN CA AND A STRONGER
SOUTHERN PORTION ALREADY MOVING INLAND TO SRN CA THIS MORNING AS IS
INDICATED BY STRONG SUBSIDENCE CENTERED OFF THE SRN CA COAST IN THE
WATER VAPOR IMAGES.  THE TROUGH BRINGS AT LEAST WEAK DYNAMICS AND
VERTICAL MOTION TO THE AREA TODAY...CENTERED WEST CENTRAL BUT THIS
AREA IS UNDER MORNING CLOUD COVER AND THUS WILL LIKELY BECOME MORE
CONVECTIVELY ACTIVE IN THE AFTERNOON.  EARLY CONVECTION COULD FAVOR
THE SOUTHERN BOUNDARY OF THE MORNING CLOUD OR ROUGHLY MINERAL COUNTY.
