NORTH CENTRAL EUREKA COUNTY IN NEVADA * UNTIL 815 PM PDT * AT 615 PM PDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER NORTH CENTRAL EUREKA COUNTY...OR OVER CRESCENT VALLEY AND THE CORTEZ MOUNTAINS. NORTHERN GREAT BASIN FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE ELKO NV 150 PM PDT SAT MAY 26 2001 SYNOPSIS...AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE NORTH OF THE SILVER STATE THROUGH MONDAY. THIS WILL BRING CLOUDS AND COOLER TEMPERATURES TO THE AREA...AS WELL AS A SMALL THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS TO THE CENTRAL MOUNTAIN AREAS. ON WEDNESDAY HIGH PRESSURE WILL BUILD IN ONCE AGAIN BRINGING WARMER TEMPERATURES AND DRY WEATHER. SHORT TERM...MID LEVEL DISTURBANCE MOVED THROUGH NORTHERN NEVADA THIS MORNING...LEAVING DESTABILIZED AIR IN ITS WAKE.
