SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAKE CHARLES LA 300 PM CDT TUE JUN 26 2001 AN UPPER LEVEL LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM OVER KENTUCKY IS SLOWLY RETROGRADING WEST AND WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE A NORTHWEST FLOW ABOVE 15 THSD FEET IN SOUTHWEST LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEAST TEXAS. THE LCH SOUNDING SHOWS A PRECIP WATER OF 1.40 AND A CAPE OF 3655. THIS WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW AND THURSDAY CAUSING SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ONCE AGAIN...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE SEA BREEZE FRONT.
