RADAR CURRENTLY INDICATES SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
ALONG ACTIVE SEA BREEZE FROM THE NORTH END OF SABINE LAKE TO
NORTHEAST OF LAFAYETTE. WE HAVE RECEIVED A COUPLE REPORTS OF
FUNNEL CLOUDS AND WATERSPOUTS IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS NEAR BRIDGE
CITY AND SABINE PASS. ALSO...STORMS HAVE BEEN PUTTING DOWN
BRIEF HEAVY AMOUNTS OF RAIN WITH NEARLY A HALF INCH REPORTED
AT KLFT IN A ONE HOUR PERIOD.

FORECAST PERIOD THROUGH THURSDAY NIGHT...
SIMILAR PATTERN WILL BE OVER THE FORECAST AREA ON WEDNESDAY.
SOUTHERLY WINDS WILL CONTINUE TO BRING IN DECENT GULF MOISTURE
WITH PRECIPITABLE WATER VALUES BETWEEN 1.5 AND 1.75 INCHES.
MEANWHILE WEAKNESS SEEN IN THE MID LEVELS WILL REMAIN NEARLY
STATIONARY ALONG THE GULF COAST. THEREFORE...SHOULD AGAIN SEE
AN ACTIVE SEABREEZE PUSHING GRADUALLY INLAND DURING THE DAY.

DUE TO WEAK VERTICAL WIND PROFILE...BELIEVE A FEW FUNNEL CLOUDS AND
WATERSPOUTS WILL BE POSSIBLE WHERE OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES AND THE
SEABREEZE COLLIDE. ALSO...WITH THE SLOW MOVEMENT OF THE STORMS...
ISOLATED LOCATIONS WILL SEE ONE-HALF TO INCH OF OF RAINFALL.

UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE PUSHES BACK A LITTLE TO THE EAST ON
THURSDAY...THEREFORE WILL CUT POPS BACK A TAD.

THURSDAY NIGHT SETTING UP TO BE A BIT LIKE LAST THURSDAY NIGHT.
STRONG TROF MOVING DOWN INTO THE SOUTHERN PLAINS AT THIS TIME ALONG
WITH AREA UNDER RIGHT REAR QUAD OF JET PROVIDING GOOD DIVERGENCE
ALOFT. STORMS THAT DEVELOP OVER NORTHEAST TEXAS IN THE EVENING WILL
PUSH SOUTHEAST INTO THE FORECAST AREA DURING THE OVERNIGHT.

CLOUD NEAR BRIDGE CITY MOVING TO THE NORTHWEST.

A MOIST TROPICAL AIRMASS AND RELATIVELY WEAK WINDS IN THE LOW TO MID
LEVELS OF THE ATMOSPHERE ARE IN PLACE ACROSS THE AREA. UNDER THESE
CONDITIONS...SHORT-LIVED FUNNEL CLOUDS AND WATERSPOUTS WILL BE
POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON...ALONG THE COASTAL COUNTIES OF SOUTHEAST
TEXAS AND THE COASTAL PARISHES OF SOUTHWEST AND SOUTH-CENTRAL
LOUISIANA AND ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS. OFTEN...FUNNEL CLOUDS AND
WATERSPOUTS FORM UNDER RAPIDLY DEVELOPING CUMULUS CLOUDS WHERE
SEABREEZE AND RAIN COOLED BOUNDARIES...KNOWN AS OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES...
