THROUGH EARLY EVENING. THIS INCLUDES METRO HOUSTON AND OTHER CITIES
SUCH AS BRYAN/COLLEGE STATION...CONROE...HUNTSVILLE...CROCKETT...
LIVINGSTON...RICHMOND/ROSENBERG...WHARTON AND COLUMBUS AND GALVESTON.

A SLOW MOVING COLD FRONT SHOULD MOVE THROUGH THE AREA THIS EVENING.
AT 330 PM THE FRONT WAS ALONG A TYLER TO AUSTIN LINE MOVING SOUTH.
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WERE ALREADY DEVELOPING AHEAD
OF THE FRONT. THE THREAT FOR SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL INCREASE AS THE
COLD FRONT MOVES INTO THE WARMER AND MORE MOIST AIR ACROSS
SOUTHEAST TEXAS LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING. THE MAIN THREAT
TIME IS 4 PM TO 8 PM...AND THE PRINCIPAL SEVERE THREAT IS LARGE HAIL.
SOME ISOLATED DAMAGING WIND EVENTS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE.

THE FRONT IS FORECAST TO MOVE THROUGH COLLEGE STATION...HUNTSVILLE AND
CROCKETT BY EARLY THIS EVENING...THROUGH THE HOUSTON METRO AREA BEFORE
MIDNIGHT AND OFF THE COAST SHORTLY THEREAFTER. WIND SHEAR IS FORECAST
TO WEAKEN CONSIDERABLY THIS AFTERNOON WHICH WOULD BE A LIMITING FACTOR
FOR SUPERCELL DEVELOPMENT. IN ADDITION TO THE SEVERE POSSIBILITY...
LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE TO TWO INCHES ARE EXPECTED FROM
THE STRONGER STORMS. STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE
OVER THE BAYS AND COASTAL WATERS AFTER 8 PM. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS
