THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GREENVILLE-SPARTANBURG HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RUTHERFORD COUNTY IN WESTERN NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 1015 PM EDT

* AT 805 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN FROM A SERIES OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS MOVING REPEATEDLY
  NORTHWARD OVER CENTRAL RUTHERFORD COUNTY.

* RADAR HAS INDICATED THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN THE
  VICINITY OF FOREST CITY AND POINTS NORTHWARD TOWARD SUNSHINE. AN
  ADDITIONAL 1 TO 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN ARE EXPECTED FROM THUNDERSTORMS
  MOVING NORTHWARD OUT OF SPARTANBURG COUNTY. STREAMS AND CREEKS IN
  THE FOREST CITY AREA...AND ALONG AND EAST OF HIGHWAY 64...WILL
  LIKELY SPILL OUT OF THEIR BANKS.
