THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND RAPIDS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BARRY COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN
  CALHOUN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MICHIGAN

* UNTIL 900 AM EDT

* AT 453 AM EDT...THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUE TO
  IMPACT THESE COUNTIES.  RADAR ESTIMATED THAT UP TO 4 INCHES MAY 
  HAVE FALLEN IN NORTHEAST BARRY COUNTY...AND UP TO 3 INCHES IN 
  CALHOUN.

* THIS IS ENOUGH RAIN TO INITIATE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS 
  AND CREEKS IN THESE COUNTIES.  SERIOUS URBAN FLOODING IS EXPECTED 
  AS WELL.

* ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED THROUGH THROUGH 700 AM.  SOME
  LOCATIONS COULD END UP WITH 5 INCHES OF RAIN BY 700 AM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
