.SYNOPSIS...SOUTHERLY FLOW WILL CONTINUE TO SPREAD MOISTURE ACROSS
NORTHERN ARIZONA WITH THE PATTERN OF AFTERNOON SHOWERS AND
THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUING OVER MUCH OF THE AREA THROUGH MIDWEEK. BY
LATE IN THE WEEK AND THE WEEKEND A DRIER SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL
DEVELOP WITH THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY CONFINED MAINLY TO THE EASTERN
PORTION OF THE STATE.

.DISCUSSION...PULSE TYPE TSTORMS FIRING ALONG THE HIGHER TERRAIN AND
LITTLE COLORADO RIVER VALLEY ATTM. MOIST SOUTHERLY FLOW EXPECTED TO
REMAIN OVER MOST OF THE CWA THROUGH MIDWEEK. NEXT FEATURE OF
INTEREST FOR THE SHORT TERM IS THE INVERTED TROF MOVING WEST OUT OF
THE BIG BEND AREA TOWARD SE AZ TODAY. PREFER AVN SOLUTION WITH THIS
FEATURE OVER THE NEXT 24 TO 36 HOURS...BUT SATIMG SUGGESTS THIS
FEATURE IS FURTHER NORTH THAN ANALYZED. AVN MOVES THIS FEATURE
WESTWARD...THEN NORTHWARD INTO CENTRAL AZ TOMORROW FOR AN INCREASE
IN CONVECTIVE ACTIVITY. FOR THE EXTENDED...TROF IN THE EASTERN
PACIFIC COMES INTO PLAY AFTER MIDWEEK WITH SOUTHWEST FLOW MAKING A
PRESENCE INTO THE WESTERN CWA BY THURSDAY. SOME DRYING EXPECTED IN
